Göltürkbükü

Göltürkbükü

Two secluded bays of the Aegean Sea, Gölköy and Türkbükü, amalgamated to form the new village of Göltürkbükü, called also Gol-Buk. It is located on the north shore of Bodrum Peninsula. The Gölköy end of the large bay is quiet and restrained, while Türkbükü caters for the flamboyant and creative visitors using exclusive beach clubs and eager staff to wait on clientele hand and foot. The beaches here are narrow, so there are lots of wooden swimming docks extending from the beach into the sea. Göltürkbükü has beautiful pine forests on the hills and tangerine trees lower down. This idyllic bay provide sunning and swimming and boasts the splendid reflection of full moon rise from behind the mountains. The best time to visit this beautiful sailing destination is from April till October.

The Bodrum Peninsula is an area of wonderful diversity. It offers intense nightlife, wonderful nature, amazing coves, beautiful beaches, quality hotels and holiday villages. Yalikavak is small, but developed town with busy center. It has a small beach and a harbour where visiting yachts and fishing boats moor together. East of Yalikavak is located Gündoğan. It is peaceful unspoiled little village with the long expanse of sandy beach in the centre of the bay. Heading more east, you will enter Göltürkbükü. It is a favorite place of many well-known Turkish artists and actors with narrow beach, but lots of wooden swimming docks extending into the sea.
